Primary Use
A reflector sheet is aluminium finished to a high-reflectivity mirror surface. Instead of absorbing light that hits it, the surface redirects it — which is exactly what you want behind a lamp or an LED module, where any light absorbed by the fitting is light the room never sees.
The same property applies to radiant heat, which is why reflector sheet also appears in thermal and cold-storage insulation assemblies as a radiant barrier layer.
Kumar Aluminium supplies reflector sheet in the standard 4 ft × 4 ft size at 0.25 mm — thin enough to form and mount easily, and to add negligible weight to a fitting.

A reflector sheet is aluminium finished to a high-reflectivity mirror surface so that it redirects light rather than absorbing it. It is used behind lamps and LED modules in light fittings, and as a radiant heat barrier in insulation assemblies.

Aluminium gives high reflectivity directly from the metal surface without a coating that can degrade, and it does not rust. At 0.25 mm it is also light enough to mount in a fitting without adding meaningful weight.
Our stocked reflector sheet is 0.25 mm. If you need a different gauge, describe the application and we will suggest an alternative from our sheet or coil range.
