Trafford & circular
Corrugated aluminium sheet is flat coil rolled into a repeating rib profile. The ribs are what make it work: they stiffen a thin sheet enough to span between purlins, and they channel rainwater off the roof instead of letting it sit.
Against galvanised steel, aluminium wins on two counts that matter over a building’s life. It does not rust, so there is no galvanising to wear through and no repainting cycle. And at roughly a third of the weight, it reduces the load on purlins and the supporting structure — which often means a lighter, cheaper frame.
Kumar Aluminium supplies Trafford shed and circular profiles from Jindal and Hindalco, rolled to whatever length your rafters need.
Rounded corrugation profile with a softer rib form. Used where a traditional corrugated appearance or tighter rib pitch is wanted.

Tell us the roof area, the profile you want and the thickness. We roll to your exact length, so there are no unnecessary end laps across the run.
For most industrial sheds 0.50 mm to 0.71 mm is the working range. Lighter 0.40 mm suits covered areas and low spans; 0.91 mm is chosen for wide purlin spacing, coastal wind loads or where foot traffic during maintenance is expected.
Trafford is a wide-pitch corrugated profile used across Indian industrial roofing. The deep, widely spaced ribs give good rainwater drainage and span capacity, which is why it is the default for factory sheds and warehouses.
Length is rolled to your requirement. Ordering the full rafter length avoids end laps across the roof, which reduces leak points and speeds up installation.
Aluminium does not rust, so it needs no galvanising or repainting, and it weighs about a third as much, which reduces the purlin and structure loading. In coastal or chemically aggressive environments the service life difference is significant.
Corrugated sheets are supplied in 950 mm and 1054 mm widths. This is the overall sheet width — the effective covering width after side laps will be slightly less.
Kumar Aluminium supplies 8011-H14 and 3105-F from Jindal and Hindalco. Both form cleanly into profile and weather well without coating.
Our stock range is mill finish. If you need a colour coated or pre-painted profile, tell us the shade and specification and we will confirm what can be sourced against your requirement.
